Jennie M. Suo entered peacefully into eternal rest on October 30, 2014. The daughter of Thomas and Constance Ammirata Ferraro, she was 92 years old and was born on July 14, 1922 in Maybrook.
Aunt Jennie was a hard worker who lived through the Depression. She was a seamstress for Brookmay Mfg Company prior to working as a waitress at the Spruce Lodge. For over 40 years, she became a favorite of the patrons she served, sharing her beautiful smile and warm personality. She enjoyed bingo, card games, trips to the casinos and a cup of good coffee. She also was an excellent baker and cook.
Her beloved, cherished, and deeply missed family members, husband, Patrick Suo, brother, Frank Ferraro, and sister and brother-in-law, Millie and John DeSantis, predeceased her. Aunt Jennie is survived by several nieces and nephews, including her devoted nieces, Connie DeSantis and Paula DeSantis Leibovitz, who were caregivers to their “second mother”.
