Raymond A. Anderson, Jr. of Rock Tavern, NY passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh. He was a dairy farmer for over 40 years and was employed by Fed Ex for 5 years. The son of the late Raymond A. and Ethel Loftis Anderson, Sr., he was born on September 18, 1959 in Newburgh, NY. He was 55 years old.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Mary Sanner at home; sisters, Carol Ferlita of North Carolina and Marie Summer of South Carolina, nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 28th from 5-8 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, November 30th at Sacred Heart Church, Robinson Ave. Newburgh, NY. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Montgomery, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
