Karen Ann (Tish) Philhower of Bremen GA passed away suddenly Monday, January 12, 2015 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Goshen, New York, September 9, 1948, daughter of Audrey Griffin and the late Walter Holbert. She retired in October from Belk’s where she worked in the jewelry department.
Survivors include her husband, George Philhower of Bremen; children, George W. and Teresa Philhower of Temple, Kimberly Faith and Mitchell McMahan of Mississippi, Duane (D.J.) James and Denise Philhower of Temple; mother, Audrey Griffin of Maybrook, NY; sister, Patti Horner of NY; brothers, James and Sandy Price, North Carolina, Kenneth and Joan Price of Florida; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home in Bremen, GA.
Visitation will be held on Monday January 19, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home 39 Orchard St. Walden, New York 12586
Funeral Services will be held at on Tuesday, January 20 at 11AM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home and Interment will follow in Wallkill Valley Cemetery.
