A longtime resident of Maybrook, NY 79, passed away on February 13, 2015 at Montgomery Nursing Home. She was born in Goshen, NY on August 4, 1935 to Orie W. and Ruth Baehm Huddleston. She was the widow of the late Robert S. Young Sr. A dedicated homemaker, Martha was a former member of the Women’s Auxillary of Maybrook Fire Department, an EMT in Wurtsboro, Social Member of the American Legion, Crossing Guard in Maybrook and Walden, Water Meter Reader in Maybrook, Permit Clerk for the Maybrook Flea Market. She will be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by; 2 sons Robert S. Young Jr. and wife Marie of Gardiner, Ernest O. Young of Maybrook; 2 daughters Lisa Philhower and husband Albert of Plattekill, Robin Young of Maybrook; sisters Joan Beaty and husband Joe of New Smyrna Beach, FL., Cora Hanlon of Colden Park, Christine Harrison and husband Joe of Montgomery, Kathleen Thorp and husband John of Newbern, NC; brother, William Huddelston and wife Joann of Montgomery; 9 grandchildren, Carla, Carl Jr., Franklin, Billiejo, Alice, Tara, Orie, Kimberly and Ruth, 2 greatgrandchildren Jennifer and Daniel, several cousins, nieces and nephews Visitation will be held on Mon. Feb. 16, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Gridley Horan Funeral Home 39 Orchard St. Walden, New York Funeral Services will be held on Tues. Feb. 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Walden, NY. Burial will be in Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Goshen,NY Memorial contributions may be the American Cancer Society
