Joseph J. Polubjak of Walden, an employee of American Cyanamid, Linden, NJ, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY. The son of John and Anna Polubjak, he was born on September 30, 1924 in Staten Island, NY. He was 90 years old.
John was a master carpenter, loved riding his lawnmower, jigsaw puzzles and going to the casino in Monticello.
Survivors are his son, John Polubjak and his wife Fran of Kintnersville, PA; daughter, Janet Polubjak of Walden; sister, Elsie Minto of Merrit Island, FL; grandchildren ,Jenine Sinclair, Gerard Klug and Joe Polubjak; and great grandchildren, Joey and Eilidh.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard Street, Walden, NY. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, May 13th at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Montgomery.
