June M.DeBates of Walden, NY passed away at home on Sunday, July 5, 2015. The daughter of the late John and Louise Pfeffer, she was born on June 17, 1948 in Newburgh, NY. She was 67 years old. June was a volunteer at the Walden Humane Society and former cook at Sonny’s Diner and Holbert’s Restaurant.
June is survived by her husband, Charles I. DeBates at home; daughter, Lisa Miller and her husband, Ken of Burlingham; brother, Steve Pfeffer of Wallkill; grandchildren, Stephanie and Kenny and great granddaughter, Lydia.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9th from 6-8 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard Street, Walden, NY. Memorial services will be held at 8 PM at the funeral home following the visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Walden Humane Society.
