Gaetana S. Russo, a homemaker, of Walden, NY, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Elant at Newburgh. The daughter of Carlo and Josephine Monforte Giuffre, she was born on November 5, 1929 in Stamford, Connecticut. She was 85 years old. She was the widow of the late Frank A. Russo.
Gaetana is survived by her sons; Frank J. Russo and his wife Suzzane of Nanuet, Steven M. Russo of Long Island, and Anthony C. Russo and his wife Tiziana of Walden; brother, John Giuffre of East Northport, NY; 4 grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Carmelo Giuffre.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15th from 7-9 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard Street, Walden, NY. Funeral services will held at
10 AM. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Paramus, NJ.
