You will be missed by so many. I was lucky to have you by my side through so many things and I will always remember your words of advice. I will always remember you telling Jay that I had been through enough and if he hurt me you would get him. You never made me feel like I was not one of your own and I will always be greatful for that. My heart goes out to the family at this time.May you rest in peace Aunt Joan.

I remember going upstate to my Uncle and Aunts house as a kid. I had five boy cousins (The Kratochwil boys) and at that time I was the only girl in the family. I remember Phil and Joan’s wedding. Joan then and always was a beautiful person. Phil, Phillip, Alan and Sherry and families I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am in your loss of a wife and a mother. Sherry you and I spoke yesterday on the phone. My heart is still heavy for you all. I had mentioned the first time Joan saw the ocean. They all were my “up stater” relatives and we were the “city folk” smiles, but the expression on Joan’s face when we took her to the ocean was priceless. She was priceless, such a loving, giving person in which my memories will be wonderful ones of her. Go rest high on the mountain Joan. Times like this makes distances difficult. May God bless you all and wrap his arms around you all for comfort.
Love cousin Joyce and family
