Our deepest sympathies to all of Barry’s famly. We worked with Barry at the high school and never a day went by without his greeting us. He always gave me an hola as he passed my door. (I teach Spansish) May the days bring God’s comfort and may the memories sweeten your days in the weeks to come.

Dear Mrs.Heaney & Family,
We want to extend our deepest sympathy to you & your family for your loss. Myself and children knew and loved him from being at Pine Bush School we worked together. Barry has touched so many lives with his beautiful soul, He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. We hope the expressions of sympathy you
Receive will provide some measure of comfort in knowing ” how much he was loved ”
We will miss him dearly his smiling face, kind words, funny stories, singing, sense of humor, but most of all his Joy & Love he gave us everyday. We hope & pray you all find peace & comfort in knowing he is in the Glory of Heaven With Our Lord.

My deepest condolences go out to Barry’s familly. I worked with Barry at Pine Bush High School. He was one of the sweetest, kindest men I ever had the priviledge of knowing. He always managed to bring a smile to your face in when you felt your worst, and if you looked in the dictionary for the definition of the word “Gentleman” you would find Barry’s picture. Returning to school this year is not going to be the same without his smiling face.

To the Heaney family. Where to start….Barry was the best. He was reminded me of my dad since he lives in Florida and I don’t get to see him as much as I would like. Barry was the kindest, wonderful man and I am happy I had the pleasure of working with him in the Pine Bush District for just about 10 years. I will miss him everyday. It will not be the same without him. The puzzles he handed out and the candy he religiously would bring me from the PX. We laughed in the gym together and when I was sick for weeks at school he always checked on me. I could go on. I extend deepest sympathy to the entire family. No words could take away the pain or loss but the memories will last an eternity.
