Colleen (Miller) Vargo, 49, a lifelong resident of Montgomery, NY, died at her residence on November 1, 2015, after a long battle with cancer. She was born June 7, 1966 in Middletown, NY. As former owner of The National Hotel Bar & Grill, Colleen had many friends and was loved by all those who knew her.
Colleen is survived by her husband, Matt Vargo; her children, Jamie Betti (Paul), Christie Gingras (Jeff), Bobby Gingras (Brittany), and Carrie Sager (Larry) and three step-children, Jonathan, Jason and Christopher. She is also survived by her mother, Margaret Miller; her siblings; James Miller (Tiffany), Tammy Conroy (Joseph), and Edward Miller (Kristy) and five beloved grandchildren, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, James T. Miller and her brother, Michael J. Miller.
A special thank you to her best friend, Erin Bordas and Tom and Mickey from Hospice for all their love and support.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 3-7 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY.
