Joyce M. Hickey, devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother passed away on November 15, 2015. She was born to the late George and Helen Adamiak Hickey in Worcester, Mass.
Joyce was married to Robert P. Hickey for almost 50 Years. They would have celebrated their 50 wedding anniversary on Dec. 4. Joyce was a retired manager for Big V Supermarkets. She was a fierce protector of her family and the best cheerleader for her grandchildren. Joyce loved to spend her time watching her grandchildren’s sports and she loved playing the slot machines.
She leaves behind her devoted husband Robert; son, Robert P. Hickey Jr. and his wife Kelly; son, Sean Hickey and his wife Theresa; daughter, Laurie Morse; daughter, Jeannine LoCicero and her husband John; grandchildren, Collin, Courtney, Dillon, Ashley and Erin Hickey; Justin and Sarah Hickey; Jonathan and Alexis Morse; John and Christopher LoCicero.
Memorial Visitation will be on Wednesday November 18, 2015 from 4-8PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc. 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586
A service will be held at 8 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association
A Memorial Tree was planted for Joyce
