Frank C. Meli passed away peacefully at his home on November 20, 2015. He was born to the late Frank and Mary Lupo Meli in The Bronx, NY on September 30, 1944. He was 71 years old.
Frank was a civil service worker for the Department of Sanitation NYC for many years. He loved hunting, tennis and singing doo wop. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Frank is survived by; Deborah at home; son, Frank M. Meli of Coral Springs, FL; daughter, Dawn Marie Pavia and husband Joseph of Boynton Beach, FL; sisters, Marie Meli and husband Victor Harris of The Bronx, Linda Bukowiecki of the Bronx; grandson, Michael; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday November 23, 2015 from 4-7 pm at Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc. 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday November 23, 2015 at 7 PM at the funeral home following the visitation.
Cremation will be private
In lieu of flowers friends may make to Orange and Sullivan Hospice.
