John Francis Forster a lifelong resident of the area died suddenly on Friday January 1, 2016. John was born on February 12, 1965. He was 50 years old.
John was a good hearted person and an awesome baseball player. We pray for his peaceful journey home to our Lord and savior.
John is survived by his loving sister, Lisa Degroodt and her husband Ron; nephew, Hunter of Wallkill; niece Megan Miklai of Montgomery; niece Morgan Barnum of Tennessee; cousin, Janine Raines and Family of Wallkill; Uncle Tom Cassle and Family of Poughkeepsie; Uncle Rick Cassle and Family of Florida.
He was predeceased by his mother Carolyn Gladstone; grandmother, Jean Fogg; and Aunt Jeanne Michalczyk.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday January 7th, from 5:30-7:30 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc. 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586.
Services will be held at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Rev. James VanHouten will officiate.
