Allene C. Reynolds, “Mrs. Reynolds”, of Maybrook, NY passed away on December 8, 2017 at Legacy Hospice, Ocala, FL. The daughter of the late Issac and Donita Tuttle Bemler, she was born November 2, 1915 in Broadview, Montana. She was 102 years old. Mrs. Reynolds was widow of the late Charles A. Reynolds.
Mrs. Reynolds was a school teacher, teaching kindergarten at Maybrook Elementary School. She was a member of the Maybrook Golden Links Senior Citizens, a Cub Scout Leader, and she enjoyed quilting and sewing.
Survivors include sons: Charles A. Reynolds and his wife, Marisa of Callahan, FL, and Robert R. Reynolds and his wife, Noreen of Maybrook, NY; daughter, Donna S. Pinckney and her husband, Robert of Pleasure Lake, NY and Ocala, FL. Allene is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Russell Bemler.
A visitation will be held Friday, December 15th from 3-5PM and 7-9PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY 12586. Funeral Services will be held at 10AM on Saturday, December 16th at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Little Britain Cemetery, Rock Tavern, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Walden Humane Society, 2489 Albany Post Rd, Walden, NY 12586.
