Obituary of Bryan Rumbold

Bryan J. Rumbold of Walden, NY passed away at his home on January 19, 2016. The son of the late Frederick and Mary Sissons Rumbold, he was born on May 21, 1939 in London, England. He was 76 years old. Bryan was the loving husband of Susan M. Curran Rumbold, who survives him at home. Bryan was a forklift operator for several years at the Bridgstone Tyre Co. in Adelaide, Australia. He served in the British Army. Bryan worked at his wife’s side at Sweet Sensations by Sue in the Village of Walden and enjoyed golf and spending time with his family and his pets. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Along with his wife, Susan, Bryan is survived by his sons: Karl Robbins and Bryan F. Rumbold; step-son, Michael Helstrom; step daughters: Alyson Helstrom and Kerri-Ann MacLeod; sister-in-law, Kathleen Edwards; Brother, William Rumbold; grandchildren, Amanda and Matthew Barker; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Nancy Jayne Barker, sister, Mary West and brothers, Edward and Frederick Rumbold. A celebration of life will be held on January 31, 2016 at the Walden VFW at 2:00 PM.
