James B. Moore of Walden, NY passed away on December 9, 2017 at Campbell Hall Nursing Home, Campbell Hall, NY. The son of the late James and Jane Geary Moore, he was born October 5, 1925 in Bronx, NY. He was 92 years old.
James was a caregiver at Letchworth Village, Middletown, NY. Additionally, he was a member of Compeer and the Meals on Wheels Program. James was also a former officer for the Salvation Army.
Survivors include his son, David L. Moore of Middletown, NY; daughter, Nancy J. Levine and her husband Adam of Huntington Station, NY; sisters, Bernice Urban of Setauket, NY and Dorothy Redmond of Hauppauge, NY; grandchildren, Sarah and Samuel Levine; nieces and nephews. James was predeceased by his brother, John “Jack” Moore.
A visitation will be held at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586 on Friday, December 15th from 11AM until 12PM. Services will be held at the funeral home at 12PM following the visitation. Cremation will follow.
