Obituary of Joyce E. Castaldo

Joyce E. Castaldo of Walden, passed away on February 9, 2016 at home. The daughter of the late Arthur P. and Constance McGuire Brown, she was born on May 27, 1949 in Hicksville, NY. She was 66 years old. Joyce was a medical technician at Crystal Run Health Care in Middletown. She was the widow of the late Robert Castaldo. Joyce is survived by her sons, Robert Castaldo of Charlotte, NC, Michael Castaldo of Vermont and Russell Castaldo and his wife, Mary of Long Island.; daughters: Denise Williams and her husband, Tim of Wisconsin, Marie Mentz and her fiancé, Manny Kokakis of Walden, and Kathryn Castaldo of Walden; brother: William Brown and his wife Laura, of Pinellas Park, FL, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Michael Brown. A visitation will be held from 6-8PM on Friday, February 12th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard Street, Walden, NY. A memorial service will be held at 8 PM at the funeral home following the visitation. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh.
