Lorraine F. “Toots” Molaro of Catskill, NY passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at St. Peter’s Hospital, Albany, NY. The daughter of the late Edward and Agnes Costa, she was born on February 4, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY. She was a partner in JoLor Home Improvements in Monroe and Ellenville for over 30 years. Lorraine was an avid outdoors person.
Survivors include her lifetime companion, Joseph Ferranti at home; daughters: Lorraine Meloro Reith and her children, Michael Brian and Christopher Daniel; Deborah Meloro Berman and her husband, Corey and their daughter, Brianna Lee; sons: John Robert Molaro and his wife, Cheryl and children, John, Cole, Devon and Alyssa; Christopher Ferranti and Joseph Ferranti, Jr. and their children. She was predeceased by her son, Edward Molaro.
A visitation will be held from 6-9 PM on Wednesday, February 24th at the Gridley-Horan funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, February 25th at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden.
