Roy K. Faulkner of Leesburg, FL formerly of Montgomery, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 in Leesburg. The son of the late Henry I. and Olive Ross Faulkner, he was born on February 29, 1932 in New York City, NY. He was 84 years old. Roy was a retired project manager from IBM Poughkeepsie and Kingston. He was a US Navy Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a sports enthusiast and loved fishing in Canada.
Survivors are his wife of 62 years, Mary Schmitt Faulkner at home; children: Timothy Faulkner and his wife, Stephanie of Montgomery and Eileen Harrison of Fairfax, VA; grandchildren: Logan, Harrison, Corrine Faulkner, Kacie Faulkner, Camryn Faulkner and Krysta Harrison, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his best friends, Red Gillespie and Murph VanDyke. He was predeceased by his brother, Gene Faulkner.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
