Mary E. Kelly of Walden, NY, formerly of Toms River, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Schervier Pavilion, Warwick, NY. The daughter of the late Bernard and Beatrice Tighe, she was born on May 19, 1928 in Manhattan, NY. She was 87 years old. Mary was an administrator for AT&T, Bronx, NY.
Survivors are her sons, Daniel J. Kelly, Jr. and his wife, Anne V. of Walden and John B. Kelly and his wife, Colleen of Milford, PA, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, William Kelly and brothers, Bernard, William, Robert and John “Jack” Tighe.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday, March 11th at the Church of the Assumption, Maybrook, NY. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Montgomery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the America Lung Association.
