James Michael Dunn, Sr. of Walden passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Castle Point VA Medical Center. The son of the late John L. Dunn, Sr. and Leona Fish Dunn, he was born on May 1, 1937 in Walden, NY. He was 78 years old. He was the widower of the late Audrey Bedell Dunn.
James was a US Air Force veteran having served in the Korean and Viet Nam Wars. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and the Korean War Veterans. He was also a life member of the Fearless Hook & Ladder Co.
Survivors are his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Tami.
A visitation will be held from 9-11 AM on Wednesday, March 16th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM at the funeral home following the visitation. Burial will be in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
