Terry Soles, a homemaker of Walden, NY passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Mid Hudson Regional Hospital, Poughkeepsie, NY. She was born on February 12, 1934 in Queens, NY. She was 82 years old.
Terry was a member of the Church of the Most Precious Blood and the Altar Rosary Society. She was a process server for many years and worked as an election inspector, a taxidermist for 8 years in Miami, FL, and a foster parent for 23 years. Her grandchildren meant the world to her.
Survivors are her husband, Juny H.Soles at home; son: Ricky Soles of Georgia; daughters: Vicki Lynn Porpiglia and her husband, Joseph of Marlboro and Bonnie Sue Kozlik and her husband, Charles of Marlboro; sister: Jacqueline Rullo of New Hamphire; step-sister, Jacqueline “Jackie” Farrell of Jamaica, Queens, NY; grandchildren; Lauren, Ryan, Joseph III, Jesse, Nicholas, CJ, and Hayden, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Victoria and Emil Schimmel.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 31st from 4-7 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. A funeral services will commence at 6:45 PM on Thursday evening. Cremation will be in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s, Children’s Hospital.
