Gloria Shurter of Walden, NY passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Schervier Pavilion, Warwick, NY. The daughter of the late Michael and Mary Hadden Pangia, she was born on December 28, 1930 in Walden, NY. She was 85 years old.
Gloria was a retired title searcher for the Orange County Records Dept. in Goshen. She was a member of the New Horizons Senior Citizens , Montgomery, Walden Senior Citizens, and a member of the Church of the Infant Savior and Rosary Society in Pine Bush.
Survivors are her daughter, Bonnie S. Shurter of Walden; sister, Mary Matthews of Monroe; brother–in-law, George Shurter of Pine Bush; sisters-in-law, Jean Shurter of Walden and Geraldine DeGroat of Wallkill; grandchildren, Silvanna Esposito and Dominic Esposito; a very special family, Sean, Janice and Aisling Dineen; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Interment of her cremains will be in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Goshen.
