Obituary of Thomas John Dolan

Thomas “Tommy” John Dolan, 58, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away, Tuesday, May 10, 2016 while riding his motorcycle. Thomas was born on July 6, 1957 in Bronxville, NY to Thomas & Kathleen (McCann) Dolan. He grew up in Pearl River, NY and graduated from Pearl River High School in 1975. On September 18, 1982 he married the love of his life Patricia “Patti” DiGregoria. In 1985 they built their dream log home in Rock Tavern, NY where they raised their three children. He enjoyed spending time with his family and going on vacations together. Growing up he loved soccer, skiing, diving, playing baseball with the Nauraushaun boys and bringing home trophies taller than him. He also loved golfing, riding his motorcycle with the Omega Knights, and watching the Yankees. What he loved most was helping others in any way he could. From his mission trips to help the people impacted by hurricane Katrina to being the guy that anybody could call when they needed a helping hand, he touched so many lives. He was a man of tremendous faith that always grew stronger, never afraid to share his love for God and the hope he had in Jesus Christ. Thomas is survived by his wife Patti of 33 years; daughter Jessica (Matthew) Newell; son Thomas (Erica) and grandson Keegan Dolan; and daughter Caitlin Dolan (Timothy); sister Carol Dolan (Ronan) and brother Richard (Cindy) and their children Peter, Caroline and Annie Dolan; father Thomas (Pat) Dolan and stepsisters Cheryl (Tim) and their children Lauren and Matt Butler, Michelle (Mark) Bonacci and Andrea Moyer (Greg). His death is preceded by his mother, Kathleen Dolan. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 18th at Goodwill Church, 2135 Route 208, Montgomery, NY 12549. The visiting hours will be 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. On Thursday, May 19 at 9:00am, a motorcycle procession will be take place from the family residence to Goodwill Church with a memorial service to follow at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
