R. Kearns “Kerry” Tweddle of Montgomery, NY passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016. The son of the late Robert Kearns Tweddle and Dorthea Lewan Tweddle, he was born on March 26, 1955 in Goshen, NY. He was 61 years old.
He was a dairy farmer for Tweddle Farms, Montgomery. Kerry was a life member of the Montgomery Fire Dept., Orange County Farmers, NRA, Cornell Cooperative Extension, and the Dairy Farmers of America. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Kerry is survived by his wife, Marion Cruver Tweddle at home; son, Eric Tweddle of Florida; stepsons: Ron (Lisa) DeGroodt, Rob (Kecia) DeGroodt, David (Dina) DeGroodt, Larry DeGroodt and Jason (Kelley Pavich) DeGroodt; sister: Trish Daubenspeck of Pennsylvania; grandchildren: Aeki, Ron II, John, Meghan, Morgan, Hunter, Nicholas, Victoria, David, Dylan, Daniel, Brody, Jonny, Great grandson Ron III; nephews and several cousins.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 10 to 1 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard Street, Walden, NY. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM following the visitation at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Brick Church Cemetery, Montgomery, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery Fire Dept.
