Pearl M. VanDuzer, a homemaker, of Walden passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY. The daughter of Jesse and Eliza Cain Phillips, she was born on July 18, 1923 in Clarksburg, West Virginia. She was 92 years old. She was the widow of the late Charles R. VanDuzer, Sr.
Pearl is survived by her son, Charles VanDuzer, Jr. and his wife, Catherine of New Windsor; son-in-law, Barry Petrillo of Walden; grandchildren: Ashley, Dana, Tina, Charles III and Lauren and great granddaughter, Kala. She was predeceased by her daughter, Jean Petrillo and brother, James Phillips.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Sunday, June 12th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Monday, June 13th at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc.
