Florence G. Wendling of Pine Bush, NY passed away on July 5, 2016 at home with her family by her side. The daughter of the late John C. and Genevieve Hughes Connell, she was born on October 26, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY. She was 80 years old. She was the widow of the late John F. Wendling. Florence was a graduate of Washington Irving High School. She was a floral designer for various establishments in Brooklyn, NY. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include; daughter, Kathleen Broadwell (David) of Pine Bush, NY; sister, Joan Jaeger; grandchildren, Jonathan, David Jr. and Victoria.
She was predeceased by her husband John F. Wendling and son Daniel Wendling.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 30th at 11 AM at the Hopewell Presbyterian Church, Thompson Ridge(on corner of Route 302 and Orange County Route 17)
Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties.
