Antoinette V. Coffey of Maybrook, NY peacefully went to the loving arms of Jesus on Friday July 8, 2016 at Valley View Nursing Center, Goshen, NY. The daughter of the late Guiseppi and Antoinetta Devito Armellino, she was born on February 14, 1922 in the Bronx, NY. She was 94 years old. She was the widow of the late Thomas J. Coffey.
Antoinette was a Nurses Aide for over 40 yrs at Morrisania Hospital in the Bronx, NY.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Coffey, Mary Coffey Smallwood and her spouse, Levon Sr.; four grandchildren, James Smallwood and spouse, Kathleen Shickley-Smallwood, Carisa Smallwood Fick and spouse, Eric, Levon Smallwood Jr. and spouse, Katrina DeVoe Smallwood, Tiana Jo Smallwood and fiancé, Dale Sauer; nine great grandchildren.
“Loved by all, many who called her Grandma”
Antoinette was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Thomas.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, August 12th in the Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, NY. Burial of cremains will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
