Thelma F. Granata, a homemaker, of Walden, NY passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016 at Middletown Park Manor. The daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina Grabiella Frano, she was born on September 27, 1919 in Allison, PA. She was 96 years old. She was the widow of the late Thomas F. Granata, Sr.
Thelma is survived by her sons: Jack Granata and his wife, Carol of Walden and Raymond Granata of North Carolina; brother, Thomas Ferrie of Glen Oaks, NY; grandsons: Brian and Scott Granata; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Thomas F. Granata, Jr.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 29th from 7-9 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. A funeral mass will be held at 10 AM on Friday, September 30th at the Church of the Most Precious Blood, Walden, NY. Burial will be in the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Town of Montgomery Volunteer Ambulance Corps or the American Heart Assoc.
