Kathleen J. Matadobra, a nanny, of Maybrook, NY passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Town of Wallkill, NY. The daughter of the late John and Margaret Mahoney Moiczek, she was born on May 2, 1946 in New York City, NY. She was 70 years old.
Kathleen is survived her son, John Matadobra of Milford, NJ and her sister, Karen Smith of Merrick, LI, NY. She was a loving grandmother and is also survived by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Martin Matadobra.
A visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Wednesday, October 5th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Thursday, October 6th at the Church of the Assumption, Maybrook, NY. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
