Raymond F. Czap of Sweetwater, TN passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016 in Park West Medical Center, Knoxville, TN. The son of the late Frank and Helen Turpak Czap, he was born on December 10, 1945 in Perth Amboy, NJ. He was 70 years old.
Raymond was the widower of the late Linda Kowitz-Czap and was employed as an electrician at Nepera, Inc., Monroe, NY. He was a Viet Nam Army veteran and a member of the American Legion.
Survivors are his daughters: Erin Uszenski and her husband, Jamie of Walden, and Mary Weddell and her husband, T.J. of Walden; son, Ryan Bennett and his wife, Debra of Albany, and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Phyllis Czap.
Graveside services and burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 8th at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Walden Humane Society.
