Edward H. Bajakian of Walden passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Clara Maass Medical Center. The son of the late Karekin and Astige Bajakian, he was born on March 24, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY. He was 79 years old. Edward was a member of the Middletown Gun Club and a fisherman. He was an Army Veteran and an owner of various successful businesses his whole life. He was dearly loved and will be missed.
Survivors are his wife, Eleanor Jones at home; son, Karney Bajakian of Montvale, NJ; daughter, Tara Bajakian and her companion, D.J. Cahoon of Manhattan; grandson, Daniel, and nephew, Marcus Salva. He was predeceased by his brother, Levon Bajakian.
A gathering will be held from noon to 3 pm on Sunday, October 23rd at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Cremation was at the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Walden Humane Society.
