Joseph W. Princiotta of Walden, NY passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Hospice House, Watertown, NY. The son of the late Philip and Anna Princiotta, he was born on August 17, 1922 in Manhattan, NY. He was 94 years old. He was the widower of the late Jean Hluboky Princiotta.
Joe was a WW II Army Veteran and a letter carrier for the US Postal Service. He was a member of Church of the Most Precious Blood, Walden and a member of SPEBSQSA, a choral barbershop quartet for over 60 years.
Survivors are his daughters: Kathleen M. Herlihy and her husband, Jim of
Connecticut, and Patty VanHouten and her husband Henry of Lacona, NY; grandchildren: Christina, Daniel and Kiley; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Charlie, Phil, and Sal, sister Rosalie and grandchild, Henry Van Houten.
A visitation will be held from 9-11 AM on Wednesday, November 16th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Burial will be in the O.C. Veterans Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
