Charles A.T. Smith of Kerhonkson, NY formerly of Walden, NY, passed away at home on Friday, November 18, 2016. The son of Kathleen Thorne and the late Robert Smith, he was born in June 28, 1970 in Lakenheath AFB, England. He was 46 years old. He was a construction worker for various construction companies in Orange and Ulster Co.
Survivors are his mother Kathleen Thorne and her husband, James Vogelsang of Hurleyville; daughter, Charlene Smith of Vermont; sisters: Jennifer Williams and her husband, Chuck of Wallkill and Kristie Placide and her husband, Ulrick of Ellenville; brothers: Jeff Durham of Ohio and Len Wheat of Monticello; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Kimberly Martinez.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Saturday, December 3rd at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Prays service will be held at 7:30 PM. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to be used at their discretion
