Obituary of Thelma M. Jenkins

Thelma M. Jenkins of Walden, NY passed away at home on Friday, December 9, 2016. The daughter of the late Levi and Sophie Pisano Masker, she was born on August 22, 1948 in Goshen, NY. She was 68 years old. Thelma was a homemaker and an entrepreneur. She was a member of the Victory Church of God and attended Bible studies. She loved her grandchildren, playing cards and games. Survivors are her husband, Edward L. Jenkins at home; son, Robert E. Jenkins of Yankee Lake; daughter, Nanette DeGroat and her husband, Brian of Walden; brother, Levi Masker and his wife, Leslie of Walden; sisters: Johanna Miller and her husband, John and Juanita Hansen and her husband, Paul both of Edgewater, FL, and Sophie Parker of Kingston; grandchildren: Scott, Todd, Mikayla, and Ryan, several nieces and nephews. A burial will take place at 2PM on Monday, December 12th at the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden. A memorial celebration will be held from 6-9 PM on Wednesday, December 14th at the Victory Church of God, 4 Scofield Street, Walden, NY.
