Carol A. Jardon, a homemaker, of Wurtsboro, NY, formerly of Walden, NY, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Roscoe Regional Rehab Center, Roscoe, NY. The daughter of the late James K. and Susan Austin Terwilliger, she was born on October 5, 1940 in Wallkill, NY. She was 76 years old.
Carol is survived by her husband, Joseph R. Jardon, Sr. at home; sons: Joseph Jardon Jr. and wife, Wendy of Liberty and Thomas Jardon and his wife, Denise of Wurtsboro; daughter, Joanne Shombert and her husband, Lee of San Jose, CA; sister, Ruby Farningham of Wis.; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Donna Rosolowski; brothers: Lawrence “Bucky” Terwilliger and Gary Tompkins; grandson, Joseph Rosolowski and granddaughter, Kennedy Jardon.
A visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Monday, December 19th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 20th at the Church of the Most Precious Blood, Walden. Burial will be in the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
