William H. “Bill” Lake, Jr. of Hudson, FL formerly of Walden, NY passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016 in Florida. The son of the late William H. and Gladys Hall Lake, he was born on October 22, 1944 in Newburgh, NY. He was 72 years old. He was a corrections officer at the Wallkill Correctional Facility, Wallkill, NY.
Bill is survived by his wife, Denise Beck Lake at home; son, Shane Lake of Walden; step son, Brian Marasco of Highland; step-daughters, Nicole Golden of Melborne, FL, Corinne Aia of Owenings Ill, MD and, Denise Veneski of Hopewell Jct.; sister, Denise Redner of Kerhonkson; grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Donna Lake and daughter Leslie Lake.
Cremation was in Florida. Graveside services will be held in the spring at the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden
