Doreen Abrahamsen formerly of Maybrook and Newburgh, NY passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Elant at Wappingers, Wappingers Falls, NY. The daughter of the late Frederick and Emma Walton Edwards, she was born on December 4, 1924 in London, England. She was 92 years old. Doreen was an employee of Nabisco Co. Hackensack, NJ. She was the widow of Arthur W. Abrahamsen.
Survivors are her daughters: Susan Behar, Stella Roush, Sharon Hetrick and son, Bruce Abrahamsen; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, January 4th at the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden. NY.
