Joseph H. Stafford of Walden, NY passed away on October 16, 2024 at Eleanor Nursing Care Center in Hyde Park, NY. He was 81. Joseph was born on June 5, 1943 in Newburgh, NY to the late William Stafford and Elizabeth Gregorec. He was married to Joy C. Sulker. Joseph was a machinist for Eastern Alloys in Maybrook, NY for several years. He served his country in the United States Army. He will be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Joy at home; daughters, Tabatha Rifflard (Frank) of Newburgh, Darlene Clemens (Skip) of Bloomingburg and Christine Dino (Joe) of Florida; son, Joseph Stafford Jr.; brother, Robert Stafford of New Windsor; sisters, Linda Deagostino of Wallkill and Betty Ann Stafford-Segrell of Newburgh; several grand and great Grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Joseph was predeceased by daughter, Heather Stafford and his brothers and sisters. Memorial Contributions may be made in Joe's name to the Walden Human Society or the Montgomery Food Pantry. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday October 22, 2024 from 2-4 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc. 39 Orchard St Walden, NY 12586.
