I was incredibly saddened to be informed of Bill's passing. While I was unable to attend the services he and his family have been on my mind. Bill was a stand up guy and probably the one person I knew I could count on. He helped my family and me through many difficult times over the years. He was there for some of my worst days. But also there are many happier memories of him. I will miss listening to his stories. I could listen for hours and have.

I loved seeing Bill at family reunions, & when my dad, Bill's Uncle Ed, saw Bill, his face would light up! Always a joy to be with. Karen Plesh

I was in my early teens when we moved up to Goshen and Bill was 20 years older, but I appreciated that he would always take time to joke around with me whenever he stopped by to help Dad with something. He was one of the older relatives who would treat me like a person, not a kid. One of his usual comments was "boy, you need a haircut", no matter if I just came back from the barber shop. I always think of him when it's time to get a trim. (Not that there's much of my hair to trim these days.)

I first met Bill many years ago when he was married to Elsie May and she was a client in my salon. I would buy his honey from him. My late Husband having been Also in the trades knew him well I believe they even did business with one another. Bill was a hard worker and a good man. May he rest in peace. Sending prayers to Linda and the family, love, Liz

Brubby,
I guess my days of polishing your shoes are over. And I’ll never get another candy bar as a reward.
I’ll miss you until it’s my time and then I’ll resume polishing your shoes.
Love you to the moon and back.
