Please share a memory of Patricia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Patricia ‘Patti’ (DeLessio) DeMarco, a resident of Montgomery, New York, passed away on September 20, 2024, after battling an illness for nearly a year. She was 65 years old. Daughter of Philip DeLessio and Isabel ‘Betty’ (Broad) DeLessio. Patti was the loving wife to Philip J. DeMarco, cherished sister to Philip DeLessio Jr. of Roswell, GA, Mark DeLessio of Singapore and Christopher DeLessio of Montgomery NY, beloved Aunt to Daniele and Dana, and adoring Great Aunt to Abram. She was predeceased by her husband Philip J. DeMarco, her Mother Isabel DeLessio and Sister JoAnn DeLessio. Patti was a graduate of Valley Central High School, Montgomery NY. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts from Marist College. She found work pretty quickly in the field she loved at Turner Broadcasting and The Jacksonville Motion Picture Association. If you shared a story about a celebrity sighting, odds are Patti worked with them on set back in the day. Patti’s selfless nature led her to drop everything to support her Husband and his dream and together they moved to Georgia. She took a job as a Media Specialist at Ware State Prison while nursing her husband after his terrible car crash. Patti stood by and cared for her husband for 4 years until he passed on due to complications from the crash. Along the way Patti still found time for hobbies of Photography, Gardening and rescuing animals. Patti never turned away a pet that needed a home. She loved her dogs. Bandit, Archie, Peaches, Trisha, Jolene, Chance and Jax were her babies. In recent years she moved back home to NY and found work as a Field Support Representative for Mediacom. She enjoyed watching her shows, visiting friends and family, and road trips. Patti would always take a ride with you, especially with best friend Debra and traveling to see her childhood sister friend Kathleen. Patti had a big heart and was genuinely interested in and supportive to those she loved. She was a loving wife, Aunt, friend and our Sis. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26th from 4 pm to 6 pm, with a funeral service at 6 pm at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc, 39 Orchard Street, Walden, NY.
