Obituary of Raymond Earl Langlitz

Raymond Earl Langlitz, 76 died on August 8, 2024 at Garnet Health surround by family after a short battle with COVID-19. Ray is also lovingly referred to as "PaPa Ray" to the five grandchildren he leaves behind. Raymond is a retired warehouse man from Wakefern Foods and a member of the Teamsters Union 445. He loved to hunt and fish. He is survived at home by his wife of 28 yrs.; Annetta Langlitz; two step-daughters, Michelle Valenta and husband Mario of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. and Jeanine Kaloustian and husband Paul of Ronkonkoma, NY; five grandchildren, Dominic Valenta, Andrew Valenta, Brianna Valenta, Logan Kaloustian and Brandon Kaloustian. Raymond was predeceased by his parents, George Sr. and Evelyn Langlitz, brother, George Langlitz Jr. and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held on Friday August 23, 2024 from 10-12 noon at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc. 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586. Service to follow at 12 noon. Burial of cremains will follow in the Wallkill Cemetery, Middletown, NY.
