Jane M. Obie of Montgomery, NY passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017 at Kaplan Family Hospice, Newburgh, NY. The daughter of James and Mary Bryner Hesson, she was born on July 12, 1959 in Queens, NY. She was 57 years old.
Along with her parents, James and Mary Hesson, Jane is survived by her husband, William J. Obie; sons: Robert and William Obie; daughters: Catherine Reynolds and Irene Wensley; and eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Donald.
A visitation will be held from 1-3 PM on Wednesday, January 4th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM following the visitation. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Montgomery, NY.
