To lose someone so young is one of the worst things for anyone to have to experience. As a word of encouragement- the Bible calls God the “Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials” (2 Corinthians 1:3,4). It is easy to blame God for bad things, but the Bible assures us that not only does he not cause badness (Job 34:10), but rather he will soon cause all badness to cease (Revelation 21:4). I can’t wait until that’s true. Until then- I hope that we can all find comfort in God and in each other during this difficult time.

One of the hardest things I have to do is say goodbye to one of the realeast friends anyone could ask for! Buddy I love you knowing you sense we were just kids! Almost every memory I have has been with you the good and the bad! You were not only my best friend but my brother from another mother! I love you man words can’t express how much miss you! Love you buddy I’ll see you someday!

The shock of loosing you unexpectedly makes it that much harder to let you go, You were my son’s (Daniel) best friend. I always enjoyed seeing you and your smile. You were a great friend to Daniel and always there for him. He is lost and missing you terribly. A.J., You were one of the “good ones”, gone too soon. Always as it seems the best people in our lives our taken first. I will miss our talks, our hugs and laughter. Everyone should take comfort that you are with your mother and know only peace and love now. It is the people who are left behind that are saddened and grieve. A.J. is not sad, he’s gone home. We love you and we will carry your spirit in our hearts, never to be forgotten. We will meet again when we are are all called “home”. Rest in Peace & watch over us all so that we have the strength and courage to say goodbye.
