Margaret J. Davis, of Walden, NY passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023. The daughter of the late Andrew Orvosh and the late Helen Braznick Orvosh, she was born on June 11, 1933 in Saltsburg, PA. She was 90 years old.

Margaret is predeceased by her husband, Harry Davis. She is survived by her sons Harry Davis Jr. (Anna) of Montgomery, NY, Thomas Davis (Betty) of Pine Bush, NY, and Charles Davis (Elly) of Montgomery, NY; her daughters Virginia Venetis (companion Matthew Lupinski) of Campbell Hall, NY, Margaret “Markay” Davis of Montgomery, NY, and Dorothy Valk (J.R.) of Walden, NY; her sisters Josephine Grimm of Apollo, PA and Dorothy Wilden of Marion Center, PA; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by numerous brothers and sisters.

Margaret was the former owner of Maggie’s General Store, located on the corner of Route 17K and Berea Road in Montgomery, NY.
