Edward W. “Zeke” Lawrence Jr., of Maybrook, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023. The son of the late Edward W. Lawrence Sr. and the late Dorothy Myers, he was born on July 11, 1942 in Goshen, NY. He was 81 years old.

He is survived by his son, Edward W. Lawrence III (Danielle) of Middletown, NY; his daughter, Colleen Lawrence, of Bloomingburg, NY; two grandchildren, Alexandra and Trevor; a great-grandson, Thomas John; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Corinne Centrone Lawrence, and his daughter’s partner, Linda Kiriakou.

Edward retired from the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad, as well as Penn Central Railroad and as a supervisor and tile manager at Tarkett in Vails Gate, NY. He was a member of the Maybrook Fire Department.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 10 am the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Maybrook Fire Department, 204 Wallace Avenue, Maybrook, NY 12543.
