Belen Viera of Middletown, NY passed away on October 19, 2023 in Newburgh, NY at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence. She was 97 years old. She was born on February 17, 1926 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. Belen was born to the late Onisioi and Onofra DeJesus Mangual. She was the widow of the late Miguel Viera. Belen was a Dietician/Nutritionist for several hospitals in Puerto Rico.

She is survived by; daughters, Irma Marotta of Middletown, NY and Carmen DeLeon of Arizona; Eight Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband; her parents; daugthers, Maria and Noa as well as several brothers and sisters.

Cremation and Burial of ashes will private.
