Frederick J. Lange of Rock Tavern, NY passed away at his home on February 23, 2024. He was 89. Frederick was born in Goshen, NY on April 14, 1934 to the late Frederick W. and Mary McGorty Lange. He was a lifelong self-employed Dairy Farmer. Fred was a member of the Dairy Farmers of America and Ferguson Enthusiasts of America. He is survived by his sisters, Pauline Moran (James) of Montgomery, Mary Sanner Anderson of Rock Tavern, Catherine Roche of Newburgh; Nieces and Nephews, Francis, William, Sean, Bridget,James, Bernadette, Mary and Pauline; sister-in-law Kathleen; several great nieces and great nephews all of whom loved him very much. He was predeceased by brother Francis E. Lange,two brothers in law, William Sanner and Raymond Anderson A Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 27th from 6-8 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc. 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586 (845) 778-3811 gridleyhoran.com A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday February 28th at 11 AM at St. Patrick´s Church 55 Grand St. Newburgh, NY 12550. Burial will be held after the mass at St Mary´s Cemetery, Montgomery, NY. Contributions may be made to Orange County Right to Life.
