Kathleen Martin Obituary
Kathleen Martin of Walden, NY passed away on July 8, 2026 at St. Luke's Hospital, Newburgh, NY. She was 76. Kathleen was born on March 17, 1950 in the Bronx, NY to the late Anthony Riina and Ruth Flynn. She was a dental hygienist in Staten Island for several years. Many may remember fun conversations with her when she worked as a Hostess at the Mainline Diner. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, John Martin (Michele) of Lockport, NY and David Martin (Brenda) of Hazlet, New Jersey; daughter, Dawn Elio (Andrew) of Carmel, NY; grandchildren, Christian Martin and Dylan Martin, Nicholas Martin and Luca Elio.
She was predeceased by her parents and sister, Carolyn Fitzgerald.
Visitation/Wake will be held on Monday July 13, 2026 from 2-6 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc 39 Orchard Street Walden, NY 12586.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday July 14, 2026 at 10:30 AM at Most Precious Blood Church 42 Walnut Street, Walden, NY 12586.
Burial to follow in the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Route 52 Walden, NY.
