Robert Raymond Campbell Sr. of Walden, NY passed away at home with his family by his side on July 5, 2026. He was 92. Robert was born on December 1, 1933 in Hackensack, New Jersey to the late Joseph Aloysius Campbell and Catherine Tighe. He worked as a farmer for most of his life for several farms in the area. He coached Walden Little League, Softball, Walden Recreational Basketball and Soccer. Bob worked with horses at the Monticello Raceway for many years. He loved animals and enjoyed fishing. Bob loved doing Karaoke and would do anything for his family. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his sons, Robert Campbell of Walden and Michael Campbell of Monticello; daughters, Sally Davis (Barney) of Walden,Terrie Campbell of Tennessee, Kelly Campbell (James) of Tennessee and Donna Campbell (Traci) of Monticello; grandchildren, Sheena, Sarina, Shawn, Kyle, Bo, Joseph, Tabitha, Alice and Catherine; Nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife Catherine McKnight Campbell; brothers and sisters, Charlie, Ernest, Joseph, Harold, Caroline, Catherine "Kay", Lorraine and Beverly.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Co. or your local Animal Shelter.

A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday July 14, from 6-8 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc. 39 Orchard Street Walden, NY 12586.

Burial of Cremains will be held on Wednesday July 15, 2026 at 11 AM at the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Rte 52 Walden.
